A Touch of Nature & a Whole Lot of Personality

We started soft—with giggles and sweet glances. Her first-birthday theme was daisies, so we dressed her in this adorable daisy outfit from Cora & Violet and then I sprinkled some daisies in the front (via AI *wink*). She was curious, expressive, and had us all wrapped around her tiny frosting-free fingers. There’s something timeless about those early portraits before the cake comes out—clean, natural, and full of personality.

Every baby reacts differently to their first cake—some dive in face-first, others delicately test the frosting. Our birthday girl? She started with one tiny finger. Then a taste. Then… well, the full-on frosting frenzy followed soon after.
