Baby Harris – Calgary Newborn Photos

Sweet baby Harris was a last-minute booking, as his original photographer wasn’t able to photograph him due to illness. I truly think everything happens for a reason and I was meant to capture this little guy’s newness. Also, they lived about a 2 minute drive from me in Tuscany, so what’s better than that?!

Harris was born with a slight jaundice, but that meant he was a fantastic little sleeper. He protested only slightly during the bucket posing, but once he settled himself into a comfortable position, I was able to get two different set ups – mountains and woodland! The mama is from out east, so now I’m thinking I need to find a nautical bucket to add to my ever-growing collection.

We photographed the family images first so dad and big brother weren’t forced to stay at the studio (I have yet to meet a pre-teen boy who has loved sitting in the hot studio for 2-3 hours, ha!), and then mom sat back and relaxed while I snuggled and posed her sweet little man. And the gallery they ended up with is just gorgeous – I love the images mama picked.

Here’s just a taste of their newborn session.

At the end of the session, mom saw this green wrap that she just loved, so I added another little set up for her. I think this green suits him perfectly!

The snuggly images of babe wrapped up hugging a little teddy is always a favourite!
